A manifesto in three layers
STRATA
Three hidden systems. One human experience. The layers most never see — but all of us live inside.
Stratum I
THE BIOLOGICAL
STRATUM
Your body carries a metabolic truth that the system was never built to find. The cascade runs beneath everything — diagnosed or not, treated or not, seen or not.
The Purinergic Cascade
Ancient molecules — allopurinol ($4/mo) — break this cascade at step 2. 40 years of psychiatry never looked at step 1.
A 60-Year Timeline of Suppression
The surface is treated
Mainstream medicine crystallizes around symptom management. Patients receive drug after drug for outputs — anxiety, mood swings, fatigue — never the inputs that produce them.
The cascade deepens
Pharmaceutical infrastructure incentivizes escalating treatment ladders. Polypharmacy becomes standard care. Root metabolic causes are buried under layers of management.
The evidence goes dark
Research into ancient, cheap molecules (allopurinol, colchicine) stalls — no profit incentive to fund large trials. The uric acid dysregulation axis remains clinical orphan.
The data resurfaces
Epidemiological studies quietly confirm elevated uric acid links to cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, neuropsychiatric conditions. The medical mainstream takes no action.
Root cause resolved
Patients who discover the purinergic-mitochondrial axis for themselves — often outside formal care — report resolution of symptoms that decades of psychiatry never touched.
The cost comparison
The System's Solution
$3,000–$12,000/year in psychiatric medications. Side effects managed with more medications. Decades of escalating intervention. The original metabolic cause never addressed.
The Root Cause Solution
What Actually Works
$48–$250/year in allopurinol and colchicine. Known molecules for 60+ years. Dirt cheap. Off-patent. Rarely prescribed for root-cause metabolic management. The system has no financial reason to find this.
Stratum II
THE STRUCTURAL
STRATUM
The architecture was designed to appear inevitable. Every tier below the top exists not by nature — but by the deliberate engineering of systems that extract value upward.
The Seven-Tier Global Hierarchy
Sovereign wealth operators. They don't hold shares — they rewrite the rules under which shares exist.
They don't execute strategy — they define the terrain on which everyone else's strategy is executed.
Professionally wealthy — managing capital as the primary occupation, not a side effect of work.
High earners who have crossed into wealth accumulation — asset appreciation begins to outpace labor income.
Stable employment, modest asset accumulation — the core audience for aspirational capitalism.
Sufficient for survival, insufficient for security. The structural majority of global humanity.
Living below or at subsistence. Resources insufficient for basic caloric and health needs.
Mechanisms of Perpetuation
Legal Architecture
Tax codes, property law, intellectual property rights, and corporate personhood — all shaped by those with capital to direct legislative attention. The law is not neutral; it was built by those it protects.
Healthcare Profiteering
Insurance architecture, pharmaceutical pricing, and medical debt weaponized as class control. Access to health is inversely correlated with need and directly correlated with capital.
Cultural Normalization
The dominant culture teaches that the hierarchy is natural, inevitable, and fair. Aspiration is channeled upward. Critique is labeled cynicism. The frame benefits those who set the frame.
Surveillance Capture
Digital behavioral data extracted at scale, weaponized to refine targeting, political messaging, and consumption manipulation. Attention itself is the resource being extracted.
"The system is not broken. It is performing exactly as designed — with startling precision — for those who designed it."
Stratum III
THE SACRED
STRATUM
When the biological is suppressed and the structural extracts everything — what remains is the oldest question: how do we remain human at a threshold?
Path of Acceptance
Change what you can. Release what you cannot. Know the difference.
Two Readings of This Moment
The Re-Emergence
Every threshold in human history that looked terminal produced what came after it. Rome fell. The medieval period ended. The colonial project ran its logic to exhaustion. After each, something emerged that the previous order could not have predicted — because it was built from what the previous order couldn't destroy.
What cannot be destroyed: the body's capacity to heal when given what it actually needs. The human capacity for solidarity, for meaning-making, for love that persists even when it has nothing to gain. The ancient wisdom of every tradition that survived long enough to accumulate real knowledge about how to be human.
Renewal is not a return to a previous state. It is a passage. You carry forward what is essential and you let the rest compost into the ground. The question each person must answer at a threshold: what is essential? The answer — biological truth, structural clarity, sacred orientation — is what STRATA is about.
